Electro-thermal deicing system is currently the most widely used aircraft ice protection system,but the traditional electro-thermal system used metal heating films is flawed such as uneven heating and poor flexibility.The main content of this paper is electro-thermal deicing system based on graphene heating film,with the aim to explore the performance of graphene when is used in the field of deicing system.So that the performance of electro-thermal deicing systems can be improved.In this paper,the working characteristics of electro-thermal deicing system are studied from two aspects of numerical simulation and experimental methods,the main content is divided into the following sections:(1)According to the reviews of graphene,a suitable method for preparing graphene in laboratory is obtained,and then the prepared samples are characterized.Graphene heating films are compounded by graphene and other polymer.The properties of the prepared heating films are also tested at ambient temperature.Several measures are taken to improve the performance of graphene heating films to meet the requirement of the icing wind tunnel test.(2)In order to study deicing characteristics of the electro-thermal deicing system based on graphene heating film,an ice phase-change model is applied to simulate the process of aircraft electrothermal deicing by using finite volume,which provides basic data for the icing wind tunnel experiment.(3)The de-icing system using graphene heating films and the traditional electro-thermal de-icing system are both placed in the icing wind tunnel for deicing at the same time,with the aim to observe the two performance in the same icing conditions respectively.(4)Based on the results of numerical simulation and deicing experiment,the electro-thermal deicing system is optimized,including optimization of power distribution,optimization of heating mode and optimization of periodic heating time.
