The shaft parts are widely used in automobile parts,the traditional method to detect automobile shaft parts is manual ultrasonic nondestructive testing,which strongly relies on the judgments and experience of the operator.In order to improve the detection efficiency and reliability,a new method is urgently needed to be carried out to meet the increasing demand.In this paper,based on the basic principle of distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing,the finite element simulation model of ultrasonic nondestructive testing of shaft parts is established and also verified by the test.Finally,a distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing platform is established with the software developed The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the theory of wave propagation,the wave equation is derived.The ultrasonic simulation is carried out for the ultrasonic wave whose wavelength is larger than or smaller than the size of the defect to verify the feasibility of ultrasonic detection of defects by acoustic reflection.This paper studies the algorithm of ellipse location based on reflection wave,and derives the mathematical formula for calculating the position of acoustic reflection point based on the position of the probe and the time of the sound wave propagation.(2)The transient acoustic simulation model of distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing is established,and the simulation results are analyzed,which reveals the propagation mechanism of acoustic wave in the sound field,and also has some guiding significance for the arrangement of the probe.The waveforms of ultrasonic testing and acoustic simulation are compared to verify the accuracy of the simulation model.According to the experimental data and the simulation data,the method of polynomial fitting and clustering is used to reconstruct the defect contour profile,and calculating the center position of the reconstructed contour.(3)The preparation of distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing software,ultrasonic nondestructive testing software will be installed in distributed computer to connect with multi-channel ultrasonic detector for reading data,displaying ultrasonic waveform,extracting the reflection wave crest for elliptic positioning calculation,finally calculating the defect center position and the size of defects.The establishment of Microsoft Office Access database,and the detection software connected to store the test data.The distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing software combined with multi-channel detector and probe clamping device constitute a distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing platform.This paper presents a distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing method of automobile shaft crack,distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing platform is designed,provide theoretical basis and technical method for the detection of shaft.The studies we have performed showed that the researching on distributed ultrasonic nondestructive testing platform has potential application value and theoretical significance.
