The issue of aviation safety has received widespread attention.One of the main inducing factors is arc fault in AC wiring harness.The insulating material of the aircraft cable may be physically damaged by friction,stresses,foreign matter.At the same time,temperature,humidity,chemical erosion and other reasons will lead to aging decomposition of the insulation layer.The insulation performance become weak,and the possibility of electric breakdown increased.Then intermittent arc is formed on cable surface.The energy of arc is high,which can melt the majority of aircraft materials,It's a serious threat to the safety of equipment and personnel.In recent years,with the further development of electrical technology in the aviation field,the capacity of power distribution system is increasing,and the quantity and complexity of the cables are followed.With such electrical environment,aviation electrical safety issues caused by arc occurred frequently.And the hidden nature of the arc fault makes it difficult to be detected.Aviation safety issues become more serious.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the characteristics of the arc fault and determine an effective method to identify the arc fault of aviation AC wiring harness.Based on the change of line current characteristics after arc fault generation,this paper studied the identification method of arc fault in aviation AC wiring harness.Firstlly,the current of arc fault and normal have been obtained through simulation tests.These raw data was sorted into the form meeting research requirement by preprocessing.Secondly,arc current and normal current were comparative analyzed separately from three different aspects,waveform distortion,spectrum characteristics and the randomness of arc combustion process.The results showed that,the arc current was not exactly the same as the normal current in these three aspects,but the difference between them was influenced by the load type,the line current level,the power frequency and so on.Thirdly,in order to solve the problem of arc fault in different working conditions,a multi-feature fusion arc fault recognition technique was proposed.Arc fault could be described from multiple perspectives,and the support vector machines were introduced to map the fused feature matrix to the high-dimensional space to classify,then the support vector machine classification model is constructed.Finally,the performance of support vector machine classification model was analyzed.The results show that the classification model constructed in this paper has higher recognition accuracy and recall rate.Therefore,this multi-feature fusion technology can provide a reliable reference for the identification of arc fault in aviaton AC wiring harness.
