Railway signal relay is an important component in railway signal technology.It plays an important role either as the core component of railway signal system or as the interface component of electronic or computer signal system.signal system reliability and security is directly affected by the relay reliability.In this paper,the railway signal relay works in the harsh environment and a larger range of ambient temperature.In order to ensure its reliability and a certain life,.heat calculation becomes more important.The thermal analysis of railway signal relays is of great significance to reduce the volume,reduce the weight and save the material.In this paper,the railway signal relay as the research object,is thermally analyzed with the help of three-dimensional modeling software Pro/E and finite element analysis software ANSYS.Firstly,according to the principle of heat transfer,the main heat transfer mode of railway signal relay is analyzed.Considering from the aspects of heat dissipation and heat production,the mathematical model of railway signal relay thermal field is established and the boundary condition of thermal field and the load mode of application are determined The finite element model of railway signal relay is established by using Pro / E software and ANSYS software.Secondly,in the ANSYS software,the therms-electric coupling is by using the finite element analysis method.The environment temperature influence on the long-term working railway signal relay is also analyzed,and so do the number of the contact conducting circuits at each ambient temperature and the contact material on the railway signal relay,especially the temperature field of the contact system.When the railway signal relay reaches a steady state,its temperature rise curve is studied is studied by using the transient thermal analysis method,and the influence of the temperature shock is considered at the same time.the law of railway signal relay contact temperature with environmental change is concluded.Finally,the environmental temperature and optical fiber sensors were used to measure the temperature rise of the key parts of railway signal relays.The simulation results are compared with the measured data to verify the accuracy of the simulation results,and the existence of error analysis is studied.
