The three-wheel electrical scooter with flexible joint is a new-style scooter for the city's road.According to the technical requirements,the flexible joint mechanism that connects fame with suspension is designed.It is used to improve the driving-stability and ride comfort.The overall structure and performance of the three-wheel electrical scooter with flexible joint are studied in this paper.The main content is as follows:(1)According to the performance requirements,the new three-wheel electrical scooter that has the flexible joint and the torsion beam follower type rear suspension is designed and the performance of the main components,including of the elastic steel sheet,the buffering rubber parts and the suspension assembly.(2)Based on the theory of theoretical mechanics,the performance analysis of the three-wheel electrical scooter with flexible joint in turning,slope-climbing and transverse driving on the slope conditions validates that this scooter has better dynamic performance,driving-stability and maneuverability.(3)In order to ensure static stability and operational convenience,the flexible joint mechanism's rigid-flexible coupling model is built and analyzed in HyperMesh and ADAMS.Then the model is simulated and got the law that return moment changes with the main influencing factors including of thickness of the elastic steel sheet,expressive elastic modulus and height of the buffering rubber parts.The law is the foundation for optimization design.(4)Compared with results of simulation and theoretical between the flexible joint scooter and traditional scooter,it is verified that the three-wheel electrical scooter with flexible joint has better dynamic performance,driving-stability,maneuverability and ride comfort.
