New energy use technology including microgrids and distributed generation requires inverters to convert the generated DC electric energy into AC electric energy,thereby enabling grid-connected or island operation of new energy.The operation performance of the inverter directly determines the reliable operation of the power system and the stability of power quality.The control theory used in the inverter is the key to inverter research and determines the operating characteristics of the inverter to a great extent,which is of significance to inverter.Therefore,it is meaningful to establish a monitoring and testing platform for inverters,study the inverter control theory,and monitor the operating state of the inverter,thereby ensuring the safe operation of the inverter.Researchers can also study and verify the effectiveness of control algorithms with the platform.The monitoring and experimental platform studied in this paper can realize the dual functions of real-time monitoring of inverter operating state and theoretical verification of inverter control.The platform adopts chip TMS320F28335 as the control chip of the inverter,by which the collected control strategy and related signals were uploaded to the host computer(PC machine)with Ethernet communication.The host computer has a friendly human-computer interaction interface designed by LabVIEW software to visually display the running characteristics of the virtual synchronous generator.It can not only complete the real-time monitoring of the inverter,but also verify the control algorithm characteristics with typical experiments.The main contents and the progress made in this paper are listed as follows:(1)The principles and techniques required by this software platform are studied,including the control theory of virtual synchronous generator and the LabVIEW programming language.(2)The characteristic quantity of the virtual synchronous generator in the operating process is studied,and the corresponding software algorithm is designed to judge the running state of the virtual synchronous generator.(3)The overall scheme of the platform was designed from two aspects of software and hardware.(4)The driver programming of the Ethernet interface chip RTL8019 AS is studied,including software programming for initializing and for transmitting and receiving data.(5)The preparation of database software is studied,including the construction of the database,the connection with the monitoring system,and data storage and query.(6)The software platform designed and studied in this paper is divided into three parts: state monitoring subsystem,test subsystem and database subsystem.The test results of the platform verify the typical control theory of virtual synchronous generators,and realize the functions of parameter display,parameter query and data storage.
