In the modern logistics service industry,the port has become an essential part of the global transportation,its status is even more important than before.It has become a major issue How to improve the port loading and unloading and transportation efficiency,reduce transportation costs,meet the Personalized requirements of different clients,continuously improve customer satisfaction,and build the competitive advantage of port that every port enterprises must think about.Different from the past,with the gradual development of the social economy and increasingly fierce market competition,the port function are no longer just traditional loading,warehousing and transit operations but it will be the value-added logistics service functions,such as processing,distribution and information services.Therefore,the development of value-added logistics service will become a new trend of competition between logistics service development and ports.It will also be a powerful weapon for port enterprises to effectively enhance their core competitiveness and consolidate and expand the market.In this thesis,the modern port enterprises in distribution center management and value-added logistics services and its future development of distribution center value-added services,conducted a detailed study and elaboration,including five aspects.First of all,the author studies and analyzes the global and domestic port service forms,and proposes the purpose of research on the value-added services of distribution centers.Starting from the theoretical research,this thesis studies the related content of the distribution center of Tianjin Port Y terminal company by using the theory and practice.Secondly,the thesis elaborates the related theories of distribution center and port logistics service,and analyzes the definition,composition,function,logistics service theory and logistics value-added service concept of distribution center.Thirdly,the author studies the internal process of the distribution center of Y Terminal Company of Tianjin Port where the author of this thesis is located and the internal business process and the operation status of the distribution center in detail.The author analyzes the existing problem of distribution functions and business processes which need to be solved.Then,with a large amount of domestic and international theories,chart data and quality function deployment(QFD),blue ocean strategy and other tools,this thesis puts forward feasible solutions to the logistics value-added services in the distribution center and the future direction of business development.At the end of the thesis,the author puts forward some suggestions on how to study some outstanding issues in detail and how to relate the theory to the practical work,so that the research can be implemented and expanded in the practical work.
