The semi-rigid asphalt pavement is extensively used,but problems for the rut,moisture damage and reflection crack and so on are serious.The structure bearing capacity of flexible base asphalt pavement is yielding.Its deflection is large and its cost is expensive.The semi-rigid flexible composite base asphalt pavement structure not only has the feature for great structure bearing capacity that the semi-rigid asphalt pavement,but also it has the feature for great fatigue performance.Nevertheless some problems are found when this structure is used,which the functional difference for material of flexible layer and uncertainty for thickness of layer are included in.Therefore,it is essential that the structure and material of semi-rigid flexible composite base asphalt pavement are researched and optimization designed.The gap semi-openness gradation is used.the voids in mineral aggregate of this structure is so large that ample space that asphalt mastic needs.With asphalt content increasing,the asphalt film is thicker,and the bending property of asphalt mixture is improved.At first,some pavement damage condition of engineering where the rigid-flexible composition pavement base asphalt pavement is used in Guangdong province is research.It is proved that the pavement base has good condition.In combination with the engineering examples and researches at home and abroad,a comprehensive design thought,which considers the rutting resistance,crack resistance,fatigue resistance function,is proposed in this paper.In terms of Asphalt-treated permeable base gradation design,volume design method is used to control the gap mixture ratio.In the determination of gradation on the optimum proportion,regardless of the volume of a conventional Marshall Method indicator;the optimum proportion is determined through pavement performance under different ratio of mixture test(high temperature stability,water stability,fatigue cracking performance,porous).Compared with the pavement layer material AC-25 or flexible material ATB-25,its excellent performance can be proved.Finally,some composite base asphalt pavement structures are proposed,aimed at the optimization designed flexible material.The optimum structure is presented through compare for synthesizing mechanical response,rutting resistance,reflection crack resistance,economic index.The mechanical response is worked out through BISAR3.0 and strength performance of each layer is analyzed.The rutting resistance is imitated through all thick rut tests.The reflection crack resistance is imitated through reflection crack resistance test.The each layer cost is included in economic index.The best semi-rigid flexible composite base asphalt pavement structural is 4cmAC-13+6cmAC-20+10cmGSOG-25+semi-rigid base+cushion?...
