Resin modified semi-rigid composite material is a new kind of pavement material, which is formed by filling the epoxy resins modified cement mortar into the special big-interspaced asphalt mixture. It has both the rigidity of cement concrete and the flexibility of asphalt concrete. On the base of researches inside and outside of the country, the ingredients of epoxy resin modified cement slurry and the mix design of mother asphalt mixture have been studied. The corresponding design methods have been brought forward. The semi-rigid composite material mechanism of strength has been analyzed. At the same time, the paper has carried out a series of researches about physical and mechanical performance of the semi-rigid composite material. Do some experiments of mechanical performance according to different ages and the common asphalt mixture AK-16A. By comparing the mechanical performance of 28d'semi-rigid composite material with that of the common asphalt mixture AK-16A ,find out the intensity of the former is better than the latter one and the relationship of mechanics strength with age. Finally, its pavement performance have been studied systematically on the basis of 28d'semi-rigid composite material. By comparing it with the material performance for pavement usage of common asphalt mixture AK-16A, it prove that has better high-temperature stability,low-temperature resistance and water stability than the common asphalt mixture AK-16A. The composite material has very good pavement performance. It is expected it can offer scientific reference basis for epoxy resins modified composite material's researches and application and popularization in the future.
