In recent years,with the acceleration of the renewal rhythm of automobiles and the ever-increasing competition in the automotive market,auto companies need to reduce the product development cycle and reduce production costs as much as possible in order to enhance their market competitiveness.As the development time and development cost accounted for about 2/3 of the entire vehicle development cycle and the total cost of the automotive cover mold,is the key to achieve this goal.At present,the research on automotive panel molds mainly focuses on the control of wrinkles,springbacks,and other defects that occur in the production of automotive panels,and the use of new materials such as high-strength steels.In the selection of automobile panel forming methods,however,Very few people study.The choice of the stamping and forming methods for the cover parts of the mold manufacturing companies depends mainly on the experience of the technicians themselves,and it is difficult to achieve the rapid and effective transmission of technology and the promotion of a wide range of applications.In this paper,shallow forming automotive parts as the research object,using numerical simulation technology and the actual production of the factory combined research methods,the shallow forming automotive parts forming method selection criteria were studied.Committed to transforming the abstract experience of technicians into intuitive criteria,it provides a reasonable reference for companies in the selection of forming methods for shallow forming automobile panel parts.First of all,using CAE analysis software AutoForm to simulate rear floor panels,narrow rear floor,left/right front wheel cover support plate,seat belt bracket,rear outer plate lower connecting plate,upper beam of condenser and roof cross beam,Which are shallowly shaped car panels,and parametric analysis was performed on their topography.The simulation results of the above-mentioned panels were analyzed one by one in accordance with the CAE criteria,and the reasons for selecting the direct forming process or the drawing forming process were investigated.Finally,a reference table for the forming methods of the shallow forming automobile panels was summarized.The conclusions obtained from the study were applied to the development of the rear beam inner plate and the inside plate of framework in the K2250 project of Little Duck Precision Co.,Ltd.The former was judged to be stamped by a direct forming process,and the latter was formed by a drawing process.Using AutoForm to simulate the whole process of the two,according to the quality problems,the optimization of the plate line and the reasonable layout of the drawbeads were carried out respectively,and the optimum forming process parameters of the two were determined through simulation comparison.Through the analysis of the final simulation results of the two cover panels and the comparison of the production costs before and after the process change of the inner plate of the rear beam inner plate,the validity and economic value of the obtained conclusions are proved.Finally,according to the simulation results,the three-dimensional DL maps were drawn,the mold structure was designed,and the follow-up debugging of the rear beam inner plate mold,as well as the inspection,acceptance and other related work were recorded and tracked.
