Soft soil is widely distributed in coastal areas of china,the soft soil has the characteristics of high natural moisture content,high void ratio,high compressibility,low strength and low permeability,this determines that it can not meet the needs of engineering construction.Traditional foundation treatment method uses gravity drainage consolidation,such as vacuum preloading,surcharge preloading method,etc.the hydraulic conductivity of soft soil is very small because of the flow of plastic mud,these methods are very low efficiency.In contrast,electrochemical consolidation is not influenced by hydraulic conductivity,drainage consolidation speed,the effect of reinforcement is remarkable,electrochemical consolidation is a promising method in foundation treatment.Electrochemical consolidation is developed based on Electro osmotic consolidation method,under the action of DC electric field,remove water from the soil in the name of electroosmosis.There are complex physical and electrochemical reactions in the process of communication,including electroosmosis,electrophoresis,electrolysis,hydrolysis,hydration,ion diffusion,ion exchange and redox reaction.Electrochemical consolidation by injecting chemical slurry into soil,traction chemical grout orientation by electric field,a large number of ions are brought into the electrochemical reaction to provide the raw materials,so as to strengthen the soil by using the chemical material and drainage effect.But the mechanism of electrochemical consolidation is still not perfect,application of this method is limited in practical engineering,so it is very necessary to carry out the research on the electric chemical strengthening.The main research content of this paper is as follows:1.In this paper,the development process of electrochemical consolidation,domestic and foreign research status is summarized,the electric double layer theory,mechanism of electro osmosis,electro osmosis in the electrochemical reaction,the chemical grouting and reinforcement electric chemical characteristics are described in detail.2.Analysis of drainage in the process of electrochemical consolidation,the changes of current and displacement of different grouting conditions were studied,it is proved that the slurry can effectively improve the drainage of soil.At the same time,the optimum concentration range of CaCl2 solution and the location of grouting in the promotion of soil drainage are given.3.The macroscopic phenomenon description and micro chemical analysis of the soil after the experiment,the research of soft soil mechanics parameters,water content distribution,anodic corrosion,colloid,cathode and the bearing capacity of the reinforced area,the effectiveness of electrochemical consolidation on the improvement of soft soil is proved,the distribution law of soil bearing capacity under different grouting conditions is given.
