Sheet-pile wharf is a wharf structure type which can be constructed conveniently.Also,it has different structural styles.In order to promote the better and faster development of sheetpile wharf and meet the demand for the development of sheet-pile wharf structure towards deepwater environment,a new type of sheet-pile wharf——sheet-pile wharf with separated relieving platform is applied in engineering practice.Based on a deep water berth sheet-pile wharf with separated relieving platform structure as the prototype,structural characteristics of sheet-pile wharf with separated relieving platform and dynamic response under seismic loads are studied by numerical simulation method.This dissertation mainly includes the following parts:(1)This dissertation studies the structural dynamic analysis methods.The selection and the input method of seismic waves during seismic dynamic analysis are summarized.The boundary conditions of dynamic analysis are generalized.The analysis method of dynamic response and the research focus are confirmed.(2)This dissertation establishes the 3D numerical model of sheet-pile wharf with separated relieving platform.The mechanical property of wharf structure components including the front wall,anchor wall,relieving platform,foundation pile and tie rod during every wharf structure excavation stage of construction period and operating period which is applied wharf surface load is analyzed.The internal force and deformation rule of wharf structure components are provided.In the meanwhile,the numerical simulation results and physical model test results are compared,the applied numerical simulation method is proved correct.(3)According to three design principles including changing the section form of front wall,non-considering relieving platform and non-considering relieving platform and foundation pile,this dissertation establishes three comparing models.The working mechanism of front wall,relieving platform and foundation pile is analyzed.The relevant law of increasing the stiffness of the front wall,setting relieving platform and foundation pile for enhancing structural stability is summarized.It provides an important basis for related engineering design.(4)Applying fixed boundary,viscous-spring artificial boundary and infinite element boundary method,this dissertation simulates the dynamic response of sheet-pile wharf with separated relieving platform under seismic loads.The mechanics characteristic of wharf structure using different boundary methods is summarized.The fixed boundary method is chosen for conservative calculations,and the infinite element boundary has advantages in both accuracy and economy.(5)Applying infinite element boundary method,this dissertation studies the dynamic response of wharf structure under different types and different intensities of seismic loads.The variation of horizontal acceleration and displacement of different structures and different positions is summarized.The different effect of seismic wave intensity and seismic wave energy density on wharf structure is provided.It provides a reference for the seismic design of new type of sheet-pile wharf.
