In recent years,the two-sided assembly line has been increasingly adopted to produce and assemble bulky vehicles,due to its advantages of short length,high use efficiency of fixture and quick production.Compared to the traditional single-line assembly form,the problem of balancing a two-sided assembly lines can be more complicated because of the existence of more constraints.The balancing problem plays an vital role in the process of assembly line construction.The distribution of tasks has a direct effect on the operation status of the new assembly line.In this paper,the two-sided assembly line balancing problem is studied.Firstly,a discrete fish swarm algorithm,improved from the artificial fish swarm algorithm,is proposed to solve discrete problems.According to the constraint of the two-sided assembly line,a corresponding decoding method is designed.Then,the performance of the discrete fish swarm algorithm in single-objective and multi-objective optimization is observed and verified by the solution of the standard example.In practical manufacture,especially in manual operation,influenced by machine failure,workers' experience,task complexity and so on,the operation time of the task cannot be fixed value exactly,but follow a form of probability distribution.In the study of balancing problem with uncertained task operation time of this paper,the solution is further evaluated by dynamic simulation analysis after obtained by balancing algorithm.For mixed model assembly lines,the line efficiency may be affected by the variation of products proportion in orders.When solving the mixed model line balancing problem,we propose a new objective function to measure the stability of the assembly line when proportion changes,and the production sequencing is based on the obtained balancing solution.In addition,this paper introduce the additional constraints uniquer in the two-sided assembly lines,and propose a correct decoding method to enable task allocation to satisfy these constraints.At the last of this paper,a software is developed and designed on the basis of the full text research supported by programming language,and interface,usage method,running result and so on is illustrated in detail.
