China is located between the Pacific seismic zone and the Eurasian active seismic zone.It is a country with frequent earthquakes.Therefore,seismic design is particularly important,and it is a major issue related to people's lives and property safety.From the revision of seismic codes and seismic zoning maps over the years to the cancellation of non-seismic areas in 2016,the whole country has been listed as an earthquake fortification category.It can be seen that the state is paying more and more attention to seismic design of buildings.With the rapid development of Chinese economy,super high-rise buildings have become more and more popular.In the past,super high-rises can only be seen in first-and second-tier cities,and now such buildings in third-and fourth-tier cities are also popular.However,the specification update does not adjust the seismic response spectrum,and the current response spectrum is difficult to meet the needs of many super high-rise designs.Based on the related research at home and abroad,this paper introduces the origin and development of the response spectrum through the combination of theoretical and numerical simulation methods.The main analysis contents are as follows:1)The research status of seismic response spectrum,minimum seismic shear coefficient and site conditions are investigated.The origin and development of response spectrum theory,the basic assumptions,the principle of response spectrum,the historical significance of response spectrum and its limitations are introduced.By comparing the minimum seismic shear coefficient in the Chinese and foreign seismic codes,the shortcomings in the Chinese codes are pointed out.2)A super high-rise building is selected,and its load on each floor and the load on the inner and outer walls are strictly in accordance with the specifications.The seismic grade of each part,the over-limit condition and seismic performance target of the super high-rise building are determined.The whole calculation is carried out with two software,YJK and PMSAP,and the structural indicators are obtained and compared.3)The elastic time-history analysis of the structure is carried out,and the seismic shear force,seismic shear coefficient and inter-story displacement angle under different site conditions are obtained.By comparing the changing rule,the adjustment coefficient of the minimum seismic shear coefficient under various site conditions is proposed.4)The response of super-high-rise structures under long-period ground motions were numerically simulated using the design response spectra of China,the United States,Europe,and Japan.The influence of the long-period spectrum on the seismic shear coefficient andthe maximum inter-story displacement angle is statistically analyzed.By comparing the elastic dynamic response indexes of the structure,the influence law of the site conditions on the seismic shear coefficient of the structural base force is statistically analyzed.
