Air bearings are widely used in precision and ultra-precision manufacturing because of their high precision,low friction and low pollution.However,the stability problems caused by the compressibility of the gas and the low bearing capacity and low rigidity of the aerostatic bearing are the main problems of the aerostatic main shaft.Among them,the bearing capacity,film thickness,stiffness,speed and other parameters become the key factors affecting the stability of the shafting.Therefore,the measurement of the performance parameters of the aerostatic bearing is of great significance for improving and improving the bearing performance.Based on the theory of mechanics and fluid mechanics,this paper designs and develops an air static pressure spindle performance test bench,which can provide test methods for the measured static hydrostatic spindle on the test bench,and conduct experimental research on the measured static hydrostatic spindle.Firstly,the design of the main part of the test bench of the air-static spindle assembly test to the determination of the load application method and then the design and analysis of each zero-component member,according to the comprehensive performance of the aerostatic main shaft,determine the measurement parameters of the aerostatic main shaft;The parameters to be measured are selected for the type of measuring instrument.The designed parts shall be drawn as required,processed according to the drawings,purchased for standard parts,and assembled and debugged parts.All parts of the test bench run smoothly and without conflict and interference,which can better follow the experimental principle.Secondly,according to the comprehensive performance of the aerostatic main shaft,an appropriate measurement scheme is designed to measure the load.The bearing performance of the air-floating spindle tested under different air supply pressures and the influence of the radial loading of the spindle on the rotation accuracy can be measured simultaneously.According to the designed measurement scheme,the bearing performance test and the rotation accuracy test were carried out on the tested spindle.The bearing performance of the tested air-floating spindle thrust disc under different air supply pressures and the experimental air-floating spindle was measured.The rotation accuracy;finally,the error generated in the experiment is analyzed to effectively improve the measurement accuracy.It can be seen from the experiment that the axial bearing capacity of the aerostatic main shaft increases with the increase of the supply air pressure.The experiment table can be applied to measure the axial bearing characteristics of the aerostatic main shaft;the axial direction of the tested experimental spindle.The rotation accuracy is stable at about 0.5μm,and the radial rotation accuracy is 0.45 μm at low rotation speed.
