The asphalt of the pavement is easily aged by the action of ultraviolet light,water and traffic during the service life,which may cause cracks,ruts and aggregate peeling on the road surface.The fog seal layer is an effective preventive maintenance technology for the initial disease of asphalt pavement.This paper developed a fog seal material based on modified asphalt with high modulus value.Anti-rutting masterbatch and C9 petroleum resin were used to blend with three different 70#asphalts,the results showed that products obtained by blending anti-rutting masterbatch and SK70#asphalt have the best anti-aging properties,temperature sensitivity and segregation properties.When the anti-rutting masterbatch with a mass ratio of 15%is added,the softening point can be raised to 55?.Based on blended asphalt.SBS and SBR can effectively improve Its softening point and ductility,and made the modified asphalt has a great performance on temperature sensitivity and elastic recovery.In addition,both SBS and SBR can reduce the phase angle of blended asphalt and increase Its complex shear modulus and rutting factor.The sliding friction coefficient between asphalt and rubber was studied in this paper.It is found that both anti-rutting masterbatch and C9 petroleum resin will cause a decrease in the friction coefficient.Under the same amount of addition,the anti-rutting masterbatch has a lower degree of influence.After modification with SBS and SBR.the friction coefficient value between modified asphalt and rubber increased.And under the same addition amount,the effect of SBS on the friction coefficient was more obvious.When the amount of SBS was added by 5%,he friction coefficient value can be increased by 19.1 1%.The modified asphalt emulsion was prepared by a colloid mill with modified asphalt which has a mass ratio of SK70#asphalt:anti-rutting masterbatch:SBS=100:15:5.75.The average particle size of the emulsion is 3.68 ?m,and the stability during five days was 4.86%.The emulsion was applied the to the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed pavement maintenance project,the situation of lacking oil,whitening and aggregate falling was greatly improved,and great curing effect was achieved.
