In 2008,the "medium and long term railway network planning" adjustment plan announced by the national development and Reform Commission put forward the "four vertical and four horizontal" rapid passenger dedicated line network construction.After that,China began to vigorously build high-speed railway,and entered the rapid construction stage of promoting the railway network.By the end of 2018,China had taken the lead in becoming the first high-speed railway network in the world with a mileage of 29 thousand km.High speed railway,as a mode of transportation to meet the needs of a large number of passenger transport,has a great impact on China's economic and social development.Fully analyzing the characteristics of the impact of high-speed railway on the development of cities along the line,studying the impact of high-speed railway construction and opening on the economic and social development of the cities along the line,we can plan the layout of high-speed railway more rationally.First of all,this paper studies the impact mechanism of high-speed railway from the social and economic level.This paper analyzes the impact of the high-speed railway on the regional economy of the region along the line from the aspects of gross national product,industrial structure,attracting investment and tourism,and analyzes the impact of high-speed railway on social development from the aspects of residents' living,income level and cultural education level.Secondly,when establishing the evaluation index system of high speed railway,the index is divided into two aspects: social development and economic development.From different aspects of the mechanism,we should use different methods to select indicators that are systematic,representative,relatively independent and operable,and establish an economic and social evaluation index system for high-speed railway.This step is an important basis for follow-up evaluation.Finally,we use cloud model to quantitatively and comprehensively evaluate the impact of economic and social development.Taking the cities along the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway as an example,this paper analyzes the comparison of economic and social development between different cities from 2007 to 2017,and compares vertically and horizontally the economic and social development of cities along a certain distance.By comparing horizontal and vertical results,we can draw the conclusion that the cities along the line are affected by the economic and social development after the opening of the high-speed railway.The promotion of cities is most significant,and the impact on the development of service-oriented cities is not obvious.The impact of industrial small cities on the surrounding cities is more sensitive and the polarization of development is serious.
