At present,the high-speed train technology of China is in the stage of rapid development.The HXD1 C locomotive,which is an AC-driven electric locomotive with a localization rate of over 90%,is worthy of further discussion.As the key subsystem of the safety and stability of the locomotive,the traction converter has become more and more important for its accurate fault diagnosis and analysis to ensure its stable operation.In this paper,we start with the research status of traction converter faults in China,and the research results of fault handling of national traction converters.Then we analyze the working principle of TGA9 type traction converter of HXD1 C locomotive and the working status of important modules and circuits,and carry out statistics and processing on the Zhuzhou locomotive section of China Railway Guangzhou Group Co.,Ltd.with more locomotives.According to the tracking work and statistics on the serious faults of HXD1 C locomotives in 2010-2016,we established the locomotive fault history,and classified two frequent faults: charging timeout fault and main loop ground fault.Additionally,by means of troubleshooting and big data statistics,etc.,the two common key faults are deeply studied,and the causal map(fishbone diagram)is used to analyze the end factors of the fault and determines the important factors,and analyze the important factors.Based on the internal situation and the analysis results,the improvement plan is implemented on the locomotive in the segment.By observing whether the failure rate of this type of failure is reduced,the technical transformation plan is completed.Finally,the purpose of reducing the locomotive failure rate and improving the safety of the online locomotive operation is achieved.And the final test tracking results verify the feasibility and reliability of the solution.At last,the current revision process of the railway bureau is introduced.The problems of the maintenance system and repair process of the locomotive overhaul are summarized,and the optimization.
