With the continuous improvement of the domestic economic level and the rapid development of the automobile industry, the number of commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles is also rising rapidly, which is followed by a large number of traffic accidents. After a traffic accident,it is difficult for the vehicle to save itself on the spot. Therefore,it is especially important to clean the traffic accident scene and ensure that the road is fast and smooth.Heavy-duty tow trucks usually consist of three parts: special chassis, special operation equipment and operation accessories.Due to the late development of domestic manufacturing, most of the vehicle chassis still use the second-class chassis of the truck, the second-class chassis of the truck. In the structure layout and bearing mode of the whole vehicle, there are many layout requirements that cannot meet the layout requirements of the special working device for the tow truck. When carrying out lifting, pulling, etc.,it often causes a second accident, and this It will also affect the handling stability of the vehicle. In response to this problem, this paper selects a new type of heavy-duty tow truck in the national key research and development plan "Research and Application of Modular Integrated Rescue Equipment for Road Traffic Accidents" as the research object, and uses the TruckSim simulation software to model the vehicle. The vehicle was simulated and analyzed in conjunction with relevant standards and regulations. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The vehicle dynamics model is established by using TruckSim simulation software. The modeling method and modeling principle of each subsystem are introduced. The correctness of the simulated vehicle model is verified by combining relevant test standards.(2)A three-degree-of-freedom model of vehicle rollover(side slip)is established to analyze the conditions affecting rollover(side slip),and the safe vehicle speed threshold of vehicles under different corner radii is simulated. The simulation results are compared with those calculated by mathematical model.(3)According to the relevant standards and regulations, from the two aspects of open loop evaluation and closed loop evaluation, the steering wheel angle step input simulation test and the steering portability simulation test are established to analyze the steering stability of the vehicle, and the centroid height and the centroid longitudinal position are compared and analyzed, which impact of vehicle handling stability.(4)The semi-trailer was selected as the towed accident vehicle. The dynamic model and simulation test of the semi-trailer were built with reference to the relevant standards and regulations of the tractor trailer. The stability of the wrecker and the semitrailer under the different speeds were analyzed.
