As a new generation of information technology extensive use in the 21 st century,virtual reality technology has achieved a spurt of development in the market and industry application after 2016 with its intuitive 3D visual effects and good human-computer interaction experience.Education is the country's livelihood of people,and the country is committed to promoting the deep integration of information technology with higher education and vocational education.The continuous application of virtual reality technology in the field of education has realized the transformation of teaching resources from text to image,two-dimensional to three-dimensional,static to dynamic,one-way to interactive,promoted the innovative development of education,and realized the teaching mode of new digital courses.The research of this subject is to develop a tower-crane operation simulation training system based on virtual reality technology.The system takes the combination of software system and hardware system as the development route,uses Unity 3D as the development platform to develop the three dimensional visualization VR teaching resources for the tower-crane of.Through collecting and processing the output signals of the tower-crane linkage platform and HTC Vive equipment by computer,the system completes the hardware development and achieves the simulation training effect of the combination of virtual and real.This paper separately discusses the design and development plan of the software module and hardware equipment of the tower-crane operation simulation training system,and explains the development process of the system.The main research contents of this subject include the following aspects:(1)System overall design and data collection.The tower-crane operation simulation system separately develops the hardware system and the software system,so it is necessary to separately prepare the hardware equipment and the materials needed for software development.Hardware equipment mainly includes computer,tower-crane linkage platform,HTC Viveequipment,data acquisition board,switching power supply,RS232 data line,etc;Software system is to create an intuitive three-dimensional visual virtual environment.Before development,it is necessary to complete the preparation of material,such as three-dimensional model of tower-crane and environment,model material mapping,model animation and system user interface(UI)and other materials.The tower-crane model is produced by using the modeling software 3Ds Max according to the Auto CAD drawing,and completes the whole machine installation.It is imported into the virtual reality platform through FBX file format.(2)Development of software system in tower-crane operation simulation training system.The module is based on the requirements of the JGJ196-2010 tower-crane industry standard issued by MOHURD and the requirements of safety training,develops VR resources for the knowledge points of tower-crane operation training.The main contents include:operation rules of the tower-crane,three-dimensional model display of the structure of the tower-crane,animation display the installation and disassembly process of the tower-crane,simulation the tower-crane operation through fixed-point parking and rotating pole collision.(3)The development of hardware systems in the tower-crane simulation training system.This module mainly introduces the basic knowledge of HTC Vive equipment and tower-crane linkage platform,builds the development environment of HTC Vive equipment,selects the appropriate type of signal collector,designs the connection circuit between signal collector and tower-crane linkage platform,and completes the circuit connection of hardware equipment.(4)Installation and commissioning of tower-crane operation simulation training system.After completing the design scheme of the hardware system and the software system respectively,install and debug the overall tower-crane simulation training system and explain the development process of the main functions of the system.The tower-crane operation simulation training system really realizes the teaching and training mode of combining virtual and real.By constructing the scenario-experienced tower-crane VR resources,the complex and abstract tower-crane operation rules are presented to users through more expressive and appealing media,and users can use the system repeatedly for tower-crane training and learning;On the other hand,the tower-cranesimulation training system integrates the user into the virtual environment,interacts deeply with the virtual object,and transforms the passive learning state of the users into active learning,which greatly improves the efficiency of the tower-crane training and learning.At the same time,the system effectively overcomes the problems of long train training period,high risk factor and high cost.
