People’s life will inevitably deal with a wide range of medical equipment whether in the hospital or at home.In the early years,most medical devices were function-oriented,lacking in affinity and poor experience.With the progress of society,the development of economy,the concept of people-oriented design has been deeply rooted in the hearts of people,and how to create a good user experience for medical products,especially for children’s medical products has gradually aroused the concern of all walks of life.Among them,the"Hospitalized children’s game services" is one of the representatives,which was introduced into China in 2016,has incorporated the concept of "gamification" into hospital services so as to eliminate the fear and anxiety of children in hospitals and enhance children’s adaptability to the hospital and the degree of cooperation with the hospital,but also develop a positive attitude of children."Gamification" is the use of game thinking and game mechanics in non-game environments,making the boring tasks and content as game-like lively and interesting."Gamification Medical" improves the treatment experience of sick children and even their families,and puts higher requirements on the design and development of children’s medical products.This article aims to analyze the possibility of using game mechanics in the design of children’s medical products.To explore ways to improve the compliance,effectiveness and enthusiasm of children in the visit and treatment of children,to develop a sense of participation in health management and give full play to the effectiveness of hardware and software.Finally,through the design practice of Smart Nebulizer Helpmate to test the necessary procedures and effective methods of integrating the gamification experience into the design of children’s medical products,in order to make useful exploration on the promotion of gamification concept and the healthy development of children’s medical product design.The article is divided into five parts:The first chapter analysis the opportunities and challenges under the new era background in-depth,emphasizing the feasibility and necessity of the study through the description of research methods and research framework.The secondnchapter explains the connotation and denotation of gamification,combined with the case analysis of the possibility of the game mechanism into the design of children’s medical products,and discusses the key value and application prospect of gamification children’s medical product design.In the third chapter,based on the analysis of gamification experience design elements,a gamification experiential model of children’s medical treatment products is constructed,and several ways of designing gamification experience for children’s medical products are proposed.The fourth chapter,combining theory with practice,systematically expounds the whole process and key technologies of applying design thinking from empathy,definition,imagination and prototype to testing to the design practice of Smart Nebulizer Helpmate.The fifth chapter,summing up and introspecting,systematically sorted out the innovative breakthroughs and difficult problems that emerged during the course of this research,hoping to provide reference for the follow-up research.
