Bridge expansion joint is one of the most important,and also the weakest parts of the bridge structure,and concrete of anchorage zone locates between the cement and asphalt concrete pavement,or bridge deck pavement.With the increase of heavy traffic road in the recent years,early damage is getting worse at concrete of anchorage zone for bridge expansion joints.For routine maintenance to concrete of anchorage zone,a closed or semi-closed long transportation is usually needed,and it will seriously affect the capacity of the highway for the requirement of long health cycle,which cannot meet the need of quick recovery of traffic.In this paper,the research work is sponsored by project of advance of science and technology in communication and transportation of Anhui province and polyvinyl alcohol fiber and steel fiber are adopted as research objects.General mechanical properties of single doped fibers of concrete and hybrid fibers of concrete are researched,the results showed that:1)When the total volume of the fixed fiber is 2%,the mixed fiber reinforced concrete with the proportion of steel fiber and polyvinyl alcohol fiber has different degrees of reduction in the early compressive strength.2)The early compressive strength of PVA fibers is lower than that of the matrix,while the compressive strength of the steel fiber decreases to the matrix.Whether the age is one day or three days,the best performance was that the volume rate of steel fiber is 1.5%,and the volume rate of polyvinyl alcohol fiber is 0.12%.The maximum compressive strength of the cube is 9.15 MPa,28.2MPa.Compared with the control group,the increase was 30.9%,31.71% respectively.3)polyvinyl alcohol fibers,steel fibers and their hybrid fibers have obvious improvement on the early flexural strength of the matrix.The early flexural strength of the matrix concrete is the most significant when the mixed fiber content is 1.5% and the polyvinyl alcohol fiber is0.12%,which is 65% higher than that of the plain concrete.4)ordinary concrete shows obvious brittleness.When the fiber concrete reaches the failure of the test block,the fiber is connected to the test block on the surface of the test block,and the test block shows good ductility.
