The Application Of Hainan Li Nationality Dragons In The Development Of Cultural Creative Products

In Hainan,the Dragon quilt,known as Yazhou quilt,has an extremely important cultural and artistic status.It is not only a treasure of Li tribute to the feudal dynasty,but also a sacred sacrifice of Li for important daily affairs.Besides,the Dragon quilt is a collection of four major Li crafts:spinning,weaving,dyeing and embroidery.It is an art treasure with the greatest difficulty in textile and the highest cultural style.Product.Existing dragon quilts were mostly made in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Because of their different colors,they also had different uses.However,as a treasure of Hainan culture,dragon is seldom used in the design of local creative products.As Hainan today,facing such broad opportunities and markets as the international tourism island and the forthcoming international free trade area,there is an urgent need to launch a series of localized design works to meet the high standards and requirements of tourism and consumption,and a large number of cultural products with both cultural innovation and Hainan characteristics are needed.Li culture,including the art of dragon quilt,is our rare design material.This article is based on the analysis of the color of the cloth,embroidery,theme and auxiliary patterns,the composition rules around the upper and lower symmetry,and the visual elements from simple to warm to natural and automatic style after studying the Dragon quilt’s past and present life.On the basis of market and creative products,theoretical summary and design application of experimental attempt are carried out,and diversified innovation and transformation are carried out at the levels of function,shape and material quality.It is hoped that some reflections and experimental schemes can be provided for the element extraction and creative development of Hainan native creative products.
