Through investigation,numerical simulation and application,the paper studied the variation law,influencing factors and measures to reduce the uneven settlement of roadbed.The following research results were obtained:1.The results show that,under the same conditions of widening width or widening height,the settlement of the widened roadbed with shoulder wall is smaller than that of the embankment under different boundary conditions.The effect of reducing and widening the settlement of roadbed is better than that of embankment wall.The greater the packing strength,the smaller the settlement on the surface of the widening roadbed.2.Based on the numerical simulation results of different boundary conditions to widen the settlement of the subgrade,the typical structure of rural highway widening and reconstruction of the subgrade suitable for the geological conditions of Chongqing,the slope height of the old subgrade is 1 ? 4 M,and the width of unilateral widening is 1 ? 2.5 M.3.The types of filling,support,reinforcement,Foundation treatment and construction technology of roadbed are studied under different widening conditions.The design and application of roadbed widening and reconstruction for rural roads in mountainous areas are used to reduce the subgrade settlement and pavement cracking damage caused by insufficient compaction,low strength,slope slip and foundation settlement.
