With the change of consumption concept and the improvement of people’s living standard in our country,people’s life style and eating habits are gradually changing.Because the open kitchen has the advantages of beauty,saving space,convenient interaction and so on.More and more sought after by people.However,according to the current gas related specifications,the installation of gas in the open kitchen is not allowed.In order to meet the construction needs of the open kitchen of the vast number of gas users,the law of gas leakage,diffusion and explosion in the open kitchen is studied.It can provide theoretical basis for conditional permission to use open kitchen,and has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,the causes and consequences of gas leakage and explosion accidents in residential buildings are analyzed,and the theory of gas diffusion and explosion is expounded.The model of gas leakage and diffusion in open kitchen is established,and the gas diffusion in open kitchen under different influencing factors is simulated by FLUENT software.The general law of gas leakage and diffusion in open kitchen and the migration trend of explosion risk area are obtained.The simulation results show that there is a high risk of consequences if the open kitchen does not take measures to install gas.Under the condition of windowing and partition wall,the probability of accident risk will be reduced and the degree of disaster will be reduced.Therefore,the method of combining mechanical ventilation with partition wall is put forward to improve the safety of gas use in open kitchen.Based on the simulation of gas leakage and diffusion in the open kitchen,an explosion model of the open kitchen was established by using explosion simulation software,and the effects of gas concentration,size of pressure relief plate and pressure relief pressure on explosion overpressure were analyzed.The results show that the overpressure peak is larger when the gas concentration is between 9.5% and 10.7%,and the maximum overpressure is 25.55 kPa,when the gas concentration is 10%.The explosion simulation at the gas concentration of 10% draws the following conclusions: In a certain rang,the peak value of overpressure decreases with the increase of the size of the relief plate,when the size area of the relief plate occupies 10% of the area of the gas room,the peak value of the overpressure in the room decreases to a lower level.In a certain range,the pressure bearing capacity of the pressure relief plate is positively correlated with the peak value of the overpressure,and the overpressure curve of the gas explosion is related not only to the gas concentration but also to the pressure relief capacity of the pressure relief plate.The peak value of overpressure produced by gas explosion in confined space is as high as 0.8 MPa,which is far beyond the bearing range of building structure and personnel,and should be avoided in design.The overpressure failure criterion is used to evaluate and analyze the consequences of the explosion,and the dangerous degree of gas explosion damage is predicted.Some feasible suggestions are put forward for architectural design,gas installation and residential gas consumption.
