In terms of the planning and construction of contemporary landscapes, with the diversification of people's demand for landscape construction, the ecological function and economic benefits created by plant landscape have attracted a lot of attention. With the introduction of a large number of new varieties of landscape plants from abroad that results in the monotonous plant landscape, wild ornamental plant resources characterized by strong resistance and adaptability, unique ornamental value with regional characteristics, ecological value, potential economic benefits and other outstanding advantages, have attracted the attention of researchers. It is an important way to fully understand and study wild ornamental plant resources by means of vegetation investigation and quantitative and spatial analyses to analyze and evaluate its application in combination with the real situation. This paper took Baishiling area in Qionghai city as the research object and carried out the wild plant investigation on the local plants based on the literature review, studying the species composition, vegetation community structure and geographical region of the natural forest plant community in Baishiling and discussing the evolution of wild vegetation. Also, based on the systematic understanding of the wild plant resources in Baishiling area, selected and evaluated the composition, ornamental characteristics and landscape utility of wild ornamental plants and conducted spatial analysis and ecological sensitivity analysis to understand the ecological situation faced by the future development and optimization of vegetation in Baishiling area.In addition, based on the results of vegetation research and regional ecological sensitivity analysis, the conservation and utilization of wild ornamental plant resources in Baishiling area were forecasted. The research conclusions are as follows(1)The vegetation types in Baishiling area included natural forest, shrub, grass and artificial vegetation.Among them, natural forests were secondary forests, and thickets and grasses spread among the edges of artificial forests or presented a mosaic distribution,or formed a mixed pattern of vine, grass and tree made up of a variety of trees and shrubs, such as convolvulaceae merremia boisiana, wild bananas and mountain trema orientali distributed at the edges of secondary forests.Areca plantation and rubber plantation were the main artificial vegetation.Based on the data analysis of the natural secondary forest vegetation in the region,it was generally the secondary forest of the tropical rain forest, composed of ivy tree bark, schima superba castanopsis fissa acronychia pedunculata and other dominant species.Pcord cluster analysis and classification were carried out on the 12 sample lands investigated, and 5 forest communities with some differences were obtained. The diversity index of Shannon-Wiener,the secondary forest plant, was between 3.0-4.0,which was on the low side.(2)Screened out 380 species of wild landscape plant resources with a strong ornamental value,370 of which belonged to 118 families,249 genus, including 21 Hainan endemic species and 24 rare and endangered protected species, and evaluated the application of ornamental plants in flower observation, fruit observation, pavement and courtyard, vertical greening and ground cover plant according to the ornamental characteristics and garden use for reference.(3)There are about 370 species(under 118 families and 249 genuses)including 21 Hainan-specific species and 24 rare and endangered protected species sifted through all the species;and based on their ornamental features and use in landscape gardening, the application of the ornamental plants in flower and ornamental fruit appreciation, sidewalks and yards greening, vertical greening and ground cover planting has been preliminarily discussed and relevant suggestions have also been made for further reference.(4)To understand the plant ecological sensitivity degrees of different regions in Baishiling areas, combining with the collected Baishiling map documents and other materials and the spatial analysis of GIS system, regional elevation, slope, aspect, vegetation distribution and other aspects were discussed respectively, and five indexes of elevation, slope, aspect, water body and vegetation distribution were selected to evaluate the ecological sensitivity in Baishiling area AHP method was applied to determine the weight value of each index, and overlay analysis was carried out to analyze the regional vegetation ecological sensitivity, which could be divided into four areas---the most sensitive area, sensitive area, low sensitive area, and insensitive area, accounting for 3.48%,16.91%,77.44%and 2.16%of the total area of Baishiling region respectively. The sensitive and low sensitive areas were the main ones.Based on the vegetation distribution of Baishiling area and combined with the grades of sensitive areas,Baishiling zone was divided into five plots:secondary forest protection area,areca-nut forest improvement area, rubber plantation improvement area, grass and shrub treatment area, artificial plant landscaping area.According to the present distribution of the region's main plants, appropriate supplementation of ornamental plant resources were carried out.Based on the spatial analysis of Baishiling area and different area types, selected plant species with strong adaptability, high ornamental and economic value and put forward suggestions and prospects to enrich plant diversity and improve the landscape value and economic benefits of plants in the plot.(5)With the help of wild vegetation investigation and quantitative analysis of GIS system and based on the ecological sensitivity research and other research methods of plant furnishing, this study scientifically and systematically analyzed the vegetation in Baishiling area to provide data and reference for the protection and optimization of the future vegetation in Baishiling area so as to achieve the research purpose of plant landscape development.
