Study On Project Cost Accounting Of F Company Based On Activity-based Costing

Activity-based costing(ABC)takes activity-based costing as the core and reasonably allocates indirect expenses by allocating resources to activities and then to products.It plays an important role in accurate accounting of project costs,saving production costs and realizing optimal allocation of resources.As a construction enterprise,The project of F company urgently needs to strengthen cost control in order to improve the competitiveness of the enterprise under the background of the increasing pressure of national macro policy regulation and market competition in recent years.Cost accounting is the basic work of cost control.At present,the traditional cost accounting method adopted by company F in the cost accounting has been unable to meet the actual needs of company F.Based on this,this study aims to take the project of F company as the object and study the due role of ABC in the project cost accounting of F company based on relevant theories of ABC.In this paper,based on the theory of activity-based costing,the application of Activity-Based Costing in the project of F company is discussed by combining quantitative and qualitative methods taking Q project as an case.Firstly,the concept and the theory of ABC are introduced,and the cost composition and accounting process of construction industry are analyzed.Then,the current situation and problems of the project of F company's cost accounting are discussed.After analyzing the current situation,it is recognized that there are some problems in the current cost accounting,such as inaccurate cost accounting,difficulty in indirect cost accounting and inaccurate cost of branch projects.Then,the application of activity-based costing is empirically studied with Q project.Through the research,it shows that compared with the traditional cost accounting method,activity-based costing method is helpful for F company to better grasp the cost situation of branch projects,more accurate calculation of indirect cost and total cost,and less difference with actual cost,thus affirming the application value of activity-based costing method in the project of F company.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the application of ABC in the project of F Company,including correct understanding of ABC,strengthening the information guarantee of ABC,and comprehensive application of various cost accounting methods.
