With the increasing prominence of the ecological environment problems,the state has further improved the ecological environment management measures.It is of practical significance to apply the theory and method of green design to the sustainable development of the environment.China is a big exporter of household appliances.On the one hand,vacuum cleaner household appliances are updated rapidly.On the other hand,China's export of small household appliances is restricted by foreign environmental laws and regulations.Therefore,the theory and method of green design are applied to household appliances.From the initial stage of product design,the theory and method of green design are integrated to make household appliances change from end management to whole process control.To achieve the minimization of environmental impact and maximization of economic benefits,the green design strategy of household appliances is put forward,so as to promote the sustainable development of household appliances.Based on the analysis of the development status of green design theory and method at home and abroad,this paper combines green design theory and method with product design and development process,and applies life cycle assessment software and tools to vacuum cleaner product design.The specific research work is as follows.Based on the consumer's willingness to pay and green design theory in the theory of planned behavior,this paper constructs the item of household appliances product design task book.The green design strategy framework of household appliances in conceptual design,scheme and detailed design,manufacturing planning stage,distribution planning stage,use planning stage and product decommissioning planning stage is put forward to form a green design system under the design process of vacuum cleaner product.The bill of materials is obtained by disassembling the horizontal vacuum cleaner,which lays a foundation for environmental life cycle assessment.Based on the theory and method of life cycle assessment,the life cycle assessment of this type of vacuum cleaner is carried out by using OpenLCA1.7 software.The life cycle model of typical vacuum cleaner is established,the key problems of environmental impact are identified,and suggestions for improvement are put forward.The volume of the vacuum cleaner shell,the material used,the dust collector and the dust-filled indicator button after improvement are calculated.The recovery rate is two point four higher than that of the original scheme and meets the requirements of WEEE,which shows that the improved scheme is feasible.Finally,based on the Checklist method,from the perspective of stakeholders of vacuum cleaners,the sub-impact types of social life cycle are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively,the impact of social life cycle is quantified,and the typical vacuum cleaner environment and social life cycle are evaluated from the perspective of green design,providing sustainable development strategies and suggestions for enterprises.
