Suspension bridge has the characteristics of strong spanning ability,good performance and good landscape effect.It is often used as a recommended scheme for the design of kilometer-scale long-span bridges and the main bridge type for cross-river bridges.In the traditional CAD design process,it is necessary to closely adjust the overall adjustment of the bridge and make corresponding modifications,which brings the problem that the design of the suspension bridge is inaccurate and the overall design efficiency is low.According to the promotion of BIM policy of the competent government departments of China and the increasing demand of the project,it is difficult to meet the requirements of high-quality development of large-span suspension bridges by using traditional two-dimensional software.The use of BIM technology for bridge design is an inevitable trend of bridge engineering technology development.At present,the application research of BIM technology in the design of bridge engineering industry is still very insufficient.The BIM application of bridge engineering is still dominated by single professional model.The BIM model and the finite element model are not related and independent.Based on the research of related literatures at home and abroad,this paper studies the application of BIM technology in the design stage of long-span suspension bridges,and demonstrates the feasibility of directly using BIM technology for the forward design of suspension bridges.Taking the Taihong Yangtze River Bridge as an engineering example,the specific contents of the study are as follows:(1)Research on parameterized drive design of suspension bridge based on BIMBased on BIM parametric design and bridge BIM application method,the BIMbased parametric bridge main structure parametric drive design technical route is proposed,and the parameterization capabilities of BIM software platforms are compared.The parameterized drive design of suspension bridge based on BIM is studied.The design of the CATIA software scripting language is used to drive the rapid design of the overall design of the bridge and improve the overall design efficiency of the suspension bridge.(2)Research on linkage technology between BIM model and finite element modelBased on the BIM-based parametric design of suspension bridges,the steel box stiffening beam is taken as an example to study the linkage technology between BIM model and local analysis finite element model.The research realizes the intercommunication between the BIM design model and the key control parameters of the ANSYS model,and then realizes the linkage between the BIM model and the finite element model.Taking the Taihong Yangtze River Bridge as an engineering example,the linkage technology between the BIM model and the overall analysis finite element model is carried out,and the interworking between the CATIA design model and the coordinates of the Midas Civil model coordinates is preliminarily realized.(3)Application research of 3D real scene model and geological information model in the design stage of suspension bridgeThe BIM-based 3D real-world model and the technical route established by the geological information model and its application in the preliminary design stage of the suspension bridge are studied to improve the accuracy of the bridge design.(4)Research on BIM model standard in the design stage of suspension bridge.Based on the research results of parametric design of suspension bridges based on BIM,the standard research of BIM model in the design stage of suspension bridges is carried out.With the EBS decomposition system and the IFD standard combined with the suspension bridge construction organization design case case,the BIM-based suspension bridge design stage modeling standard and enterprise coding standard are preliminarily formulated,which helps to standardize and standardize the bridge structure model design in the later research work.
