The seamless-welding of turnouts is the important symbol of trans-section seamlessly welded tracks.After the seamless-welding of the turnouts,the turnout track parts will bear temperature stress and additional force.In winter and summer,the sectional temperature stress is high,and will affect both ends of the turnout.The longitudinal force passes through the frog and guide rail to the spacer block or position-limiting device at the rear end of the switch rail,to make the stock rail here bear both the temperature stress and the additional longitudinal force and act as the weak part while the turnout is being used.Firstly,this thesis studied the No.12 welded turnout,which is widely applied to the Sichuan-Guizhou railway and Chengdu-Chongqing railway in the Chongqing area.Through the investigation of the typical defect characteristics of No.12 welded turnout on Sichuan-Guizhou railway and Chengdu-Chongqing railway,the site maintenance,equipment status,technical management,and other aspects were analyzed,followed by an analysis of the displacement and loaded deformation characteristics of the key parts of No.12 welded turnout.On the mainline of the station,each of the single group or adjacently-situated groups of turnouts,the front and rear parts of the turnout branch line,and the curve following the turnout branch line was taken as a maintenance management unit.A specific control and treatment measure based on the theoretical and defect analysis was proposed,to ensure the maintenance accuracy,effectiveness,and rationality of the welded turnouts,improve the repair quality of equipment and the smoothness of trains passing through turnouts,and extend the maintenance interval of the turnouts.Secondly,taking the laying of No.12 welded turnout at Xiaonanya Station of Sichuan-Guizhou railway as an example,the laying experience of No.12 welded turnout and the supervision points during the laying were summarized to provide support for subsequent maintenance.Thirdly,the processes and construction methods,such as the grinding of the outline of the small switch on the welded joints,the grinding of the big turnout switch,the coordinating track maintenance,the telecommunication and signaling of turnouts,as well as the daily maintenance and repair were summarized to provide instructions for the handling of similar defects found in other turnouts of the same type.
