Liu Dunzhen's Academic Contribution To The History Of Chinese Architecture

As the beginning of the study of Chinese architectural history,Mr.Liu Dunzhen has made his own contribution to the study and protection of ancient architecture throughout his life.His method of studying Chinese architectural history is profound and broad,and he has pioneered many fields.In terms of methods,he developed modern new historiography,and creatively combined the historical research method with modern research techniques.In theory,there are both "Chinese and foreign traffic" advocated by Zhu Qiqian and the joint study of architectural structure and style with Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin.Rheology;in the practice of architecture,it can repair both old buildings and new houses;the scope of field visits includes not only palace systems,tubular buildings,traditional houses but also gardens,furniture,paintings,sculptures,craftsmanship and even ceramics.And a variety of specific process categories.However,due to the turmoil in the world,Liu Dunzhen regretted the loss of most of the information in the construction of the society.Thanks to the many disciples who passed on Mr.Cheng's academic thoughts,most of his academic materials and thoughts were sorted out and published in recent years.So far,Mr.Liu Dunzhen All the thoughts and contributions have been available.It is also because of this reason that Liu Dunzhen's research is far less enthusiastic than Liang Sicheng and Tong Jun,and their contributions to academic thinking are rarely systematically combed,resulting in Liu Dunzhen's many aspects.The huge impact on future generations is often missed.Based on this,the thesis attempts to analyze Liu Dunzhen's contribution to the history of Chinese architecture and to summarize Liu Dunzhen's academic thoughts based on Liu Dunzhen's existing research materials and his academic achievements.The article intends to combine Liu Dunzhen's era.Background,social background and academic background analysis Liu Dunzhen chose to study the reasons of Chinese architectural history,chronologically arrange the contribution of each stage,and refine his academic ideas.I believe that today,when the country promotes the innovation and protection of traditional culture and traditional architecture,it is possible to trace the past,digest and absorb the ideas of predecessors in a forward-looking way.
