| Viewing is an important part of the urban space experience.The visual perception of space determines the viewing experience of people in urban space,and affects the morphological structure and spatial layout of the city.Urban landmarks are an important visual landscape within a certain spatial extent of the city,and their viewing value is inestimable.However,in the process of rapid urbanization,urban landmarks are obscured by large scale buildings,resulting in a decline in the viewing significance of them which leads to the problems of “unappreciated landscape”,“view without landscape” and “ city and landscape fragmented”.The effect of viewing is less considered in the space around the urban landmarks at the present stage,which leads to the deterioration of the spatial quality caused by the poor visual experience of the citizens.For this problem,the paper starts from the visual characteristics of the people,taking the public space in the surrounding areas of the urban landmarks as the research object,analyses the visibility of three different types of urban landmarks in Tianjin based on the interaction of “city and view”,and studies the selection of the landscape space in the surrounding area of urban landmarks by combining computer simulation(initial selection)with practical investigation(secondary selection).In the stage of initial selection,firstly the Grasshopper parameterization plug-in under the Rhino platform is used to analyze the visibility and visible rang of the research site,and the visual characteristics of the viewpoint position and visible rang of the overall within the research range are obtained.Secondly,the correlation matrix and coplanar matrix are calculated by Q-analysis method,and the centrifugal rate of each viewing space is calculated as the basis for the selection of the first viewing space;In the second selection stage,on the basis of the completion of the first selection stage,and with the purpose of verifying its rationality,the field investigation on the public space outside the city with scenic value around the city landmark is carried out.And through the way of questionnaire,the types of people’s activities,spatial accessibility and the material elements of the top,bottom and side interfaces of the space are analyzed to summarize the material factors affecting people’s sightseeing experience.The paper is divided into six parts.The first part expounds the background,research purpose,significance and the framework of the thesis.The second part mainly expounds the definition of the research object and related theories.In the third part,the material elements,spatial visual characteristics and scenic modes of the surrounding space of urban landmarks are analyzed,and the influencing factors of the selection of urban space with scenic value are discussed.The fourth part,in the case of three different types of urban landmarks as the main viewing objects,through the visibility analysis method,carries on the visibility domain analysis to the surrounding urban space,and then completes the initial selection stage of the viewing space by Q analysis method.The fifth part,based on the above preliminary selection of urban scenic space,through field research and questionnaire interviews,analyzes the material elements of the scenic space and people’s activities,and summarizes the correlation between them.The sixth part is the conclusion,which mainly summarizes the conclusions of the selection of viewing space. |
