Active detection sonar can be used to determine the distance,orientation,speed and other elements of underwater targets,and is widely used in military and civilian applications.With the continuous development and upgrading of digital signal processors,the implementation of active sonar signal processing methods that require a large number of operations becomes possible.The multi-core processor is the leader of DSP and can be used for parallel implementation of signal processing,which can greatly improve the real-time performance of the active sonar system.Based on the active detection sonar system,this paper mainly studies the design and implementation of active detection sonar signal processing software based on multi-core DSP,including the complete process from performance simulation research of signal processing software algorithm,software development and debugging,software performance test.In the algorithm design part,the conventional beamforming algorithm of vector linear array is studied according to the receiving matrix and transmitting signal of the active detection sonar system.The algorithm can improve the spatial gain of the target echo,facilitate subsequent detection,and achieve the target orientation estimate.The related time delay estimation algorithm is studied.The algorithm improves the target echo time gain and completes the delay estimation.For the estimation of target velocity,the frequency estimation algorithm of local interpolation FFT is designed.Compared with the fast Fourier FFT algorithm,the algorithm improves the frequency estimation accuracy without increasing the number of operations.For the implementation of engineering software,the implementation method of long sequence fast sliding correlation is studied.At the same time,the frequency domain adaptive matching filtering algorithm is studied for the weak target detection problem of active detection sonar.The algorithm is an improved algorithm of matched filtering.The simulation gain and detection effect is better than the matching filtering algorithm.In the engineering software implementation part,the core processor of the active detection sonar signal processing hardware platform selects TI’s TMS320C6678,which is a multi-core high-performance fixed-point/floating point digital signal processor.The multi-core DSP software design of this paper is based on the embedded real-time operating system SYS/BIOS.According to the platform requirements,the multi-core task parallel implementation scheme of processing software is designed.According to the network transmission module,echo signal processing module,pulse selection module and inter-core communication module,the software is modularized,and the multi-core for TMS320C6678 is studied.Loading technology.Finally,the active detection sonar signal processing software is tested in detail from the network port data transmission and signal processing performance.The feasibility and effectiveness of the designed active sonar signal processing software are verified by analysis and demonstration.
