The oceans increasingly become the focus of debates around the world. Every country increase the investments in marine development, meanwhile seeking to develop the naval military equipment in order to seize the initiatives in the competition of the maritime rights in the future. The development of marine armament is walking toward to the direction of joint operations around the warship formations at present. So the research in the field of real-time multi-targets detection technology is imperative. Based on this point, the paper focuses on the real-time parallel simulation system of underwater sonar in the detection of multi-targets.Firstly, the paper simulates and analyzes every module, including the signal generation, the ship platform self-noise, the environmental noise, the beamforming, etc. Then, to verify the correction of each module. Finally, the system program is altered to 16 targets and then parallelized, so that it is achieved that the system is able to detect multi-targets in real time. The amount of the data which is processed in the system in real time is so large, which demands the property of the computer memory and the computing speed more better, so the high-performance blade server is the best choice. The paper combines with MPI and OpenMP in the process of program parallel, which reduce the system running time and deal with the multi-targets data in real time.In order to simulate the situation in the multi-targets detection realistically, the running tracks of the targets can be changed real-timely. It can be concluded that the real-time parallel simulation system of underwater sonar in the detection of multi-targets is in line with the theory of requirements, achieves the various system functions required and reaches the desired objective by the results of stand-alone debugging and online debugging in the blade servers.
