Design And Research Of Urban Seasonal River Landscape

River is the cradle of human civilization,which plays an important role in the development of hu-man society.The river has a profound influence on the natural,ecological and social system.However,with the development of industrial society,the improper use and development model accelerate the pro-cess of river's demise.In arid and semi-arid areas of northern China,a large number of rivers are drying up,more and more perennial rivers are becoming seasonal streams,which are really dusty when they are dry,and produce many sediment when there is a waterlogging.It causes a series of environmental problems.It is important to start a research topic about how to solve the environmental problems which are aroused by urban seasonal rivers and to restore the ecological health of the river landscape.Based on the ecological nature,this paper makes a systematic and thorough study on the design method of sea-sonal river landscape restoration.This paper is divided into six chapters,the first chapter is the introduction and the sixth chapter is the conclusion.In the second chapter,it analyzes the theoretical researches and case analyses,expounds the related concepts and theoretical research foundation of urban seasonal river channel,which helps to determine the application scope of this thesis.It also summarizes and analyzes the domestic and inter-national relevant theory and the actual case,which contributes to sum up the experience and set the theoretical foundation.The text of the third chapter starts with the general characteristics of regular river analysis,and then it analyzes the natural characteristics of seasonal rivers,the evolution process of riv-ers' becoming seasonal rivers,and the problems exposed during the actual design of the project,which is the basis of the design of the late seasonal river and also points out the direction and key of the design.In the fourth chapter bases on the previous research and summarizes the general design principles,de-sign ideas and design strategies of seasonal river channel.The fifth chapter is the case study.According to the scope of Bai Guo Shu basin's present situation,which is in Qingdao city,it comes up with a rea-sonable planning and design.The research content of this paper is summarized by the in-depth study which combines with the practice foundation.It owns operability,and these theories and examples are hoped to provide some references for the seasonal river planning and design in other cities.
