Preliminary Study On Wall Relic Park Landscape Design-using Planning And Design For Wall Relic Park In Guyuan As An Example

During the process of the cities ups and downs,the city wall played an important role in the cities’defences and development.In 1840,the Western break through our country with offensive,and brought the western modern urban planning method.The function of protection and prosperity of the wall gradually disappear,the existence of the original wall affect the development of modern cities to a large extent.In order to avoid ruining of the walls continuously,to protect and reproduce the existing walls in the better way,to keep the walls continue playing an important role to witness the existence of Chinese history,we are here discussing about the necessity of building the wall into a remain park of the ancient wall,to find out the method building the park.The main achievements of this paper include:1.Sort out the develope history of city wall and find the relationshape between the city wall relic and urban development;2.Analysing and summarizing existing wall heritage park,to find a scientific and reasonable way to design the park.3.Analysing and summarizing the existing circumstances both here and abroad,contrast them with overall layout,exhibition of relics protection,culature expression,the surrounding city environment and so on.4.Conclude the principles and method of city wall heritage park.5.Apply the results to the actual case,using Guyuan city wall heritage park as an example.
