Reseach On Waterfront Linear Park Design Based On The Regional Culture Of Ruzhou

River is a natural corridor and it is also the source of the culture.For cities that sprung up along rivers,waterfronts are the transition zones between those cities and nature.They are also the perfect site to show the regional cultures and promote cultural communications.Therefore,it is significant to study on the design of waterfront linear park based on regional cultures.This study uses the method of combining theory with the case.It learns from relevant excellent cases through the design theories of the regional cultures and waterfront linear parks.Moreover,it expects to explore how to integrate the regional culture into the waterfront linear park design by rational discussion and perceptual cognition.The object of this paper is the linear park of North Ru River.Based on the exploration and summarization of the regional cultures and the design methods of linear park,it focuses on how to apply the regional culture of Ruzhou to the linear landscape design of the North Ru River Park to strengthen the link among the city,the river and the humanity.The research results of this study are as follows:1.it summarizes that not all cultures can be used in landscape design,we need to make effective choice and make selective expression;2.it summarizes that there are various way to translate regional culture in landscape besides imitate;3.the research sum up the waterfront linear zone is a perfect position to exhibit and exchange culture due to it’s special location;4.this paper hopes to supply solutions to problems and contradictions in reality.Based on the study that integrate theory with practice,it hopes that regional cultures can be incorporated into waterfront linear park design artistically.
