Application Of Regional Culture In Waterfront Landscape Design Of Weihe River In Xinxiang

With the innovation of science and technology,the communication of talents and the progress of society,the pace of urban construction,development and replacement is getting faster and faster.At present,with the development of our country,people have solved the basic social needs,and the additional spiritual consumption and pursuit are getting higher and higher.People gradually realized that seek development and integrate natural ecology,traditional culture,social development and urban environment,and make up for the crisis of cultural loss and cultural homogenization.Contemporary landscape builders need to think deeply that how to extend the historical cultural context in the process of gradual urbanization,how to reflect the times in the innovative application of regional culture and how to keep regional culture alive in the new era in this situation.The articles takes the exploration of regional culture elements of extraction and application in the landscape as the center,based on the theoretical research related to the regional culture and waterfront landscape design,and takes Wei River from Shengli Bridge to Donggan Bridge which is in Xinxiang City as the research object.According to the culture development and application in Xinxiang City,it specifically discussed the relative literature data of the regional culture in urban waterfront landscape planning and design.Article took lots methods in the research,including field research method,the literature research,comparison research,SWOT analysis method and so on.(1)Based on regional culture and the urban waterfront landscape design and the inner link of related theories,main elements of regional culture were understand and try to extract and use them.(2)Through the comprehensive study of the outstanding urban waterfront landscape cases at home and abroad,the development course of waterfront landscape theory and practice were summarized.The analysis and refinement of the landscape elements of the waterfront landscape in different areas have condensed the landscape characteristics and planning principles of the waterfront landscape,and found some problems and deficiencies in the development of the landscape in the past few years.(3)To collect Xinxiang City relevant literature and field investigation,the comprehensive study of regional culture,the nature,the history,the economic and urban development,extracted conforms to the project of regional culture elements,interpretation of its characteristics.A series of problems about the current situation of waterfront landscape are analyzed after investigation including lack of culture value,revetment too hardening,poor overall ecological river,a shortage of aquatic plants,water purification ability need to ascend.(4)In terms of urban waterfront landscape,its regional culture is the inner meaning of the city.Landscape design is the external manifestation of its meaning.The urban waterfront landscape has two different effects including static and dynamic because of the fluidity of water.In this paper,a design plan for the research of regional culture in the water landscape application of Wei River in Xinxiang city was carried out with regional culture elements.The regional culture will be expressed abstractly by the way of the landscape gardening techniques including the landscape Line,the landscape facility,decorative embossment,color,paving and so on.Following the concept of ecological protection and ecological restoration,regional culture has been continued in the development of modern cities.Only in these ways,a regional waterfront landscape with landscape ecology,culture and landscape could be formed.This article studies the landscape design of the regional urban waterfront in Xinxiang city to provide some opinions and Suggestions for the construction of "cultural highland".
