Hydrostatic thrust bearing has been already applied to many industries because of its low power consumption,long life,stable running,and high precision.At runtime,uneven distribution temperature and local high temperature of oil pad will be generated under the operation condition of high rotating speed and bearing capacity,local thermal deformation will easily lead to uneven thermo-mechanical deformation.Since the elastic deformation and thermal deformation coupling between the two friction pairs without lubricating oil between the local contact produce dry friction,therefore,the design of this new adaptive oil pad tiltable structure bearings,can effectively prevent the generation of dry friction.In this paper,the hydrostatic guideway in Qiqihar heavy CNC equipment co.LTD is the main research subject,inclinable hydrostatic thrust bearing with self-adaption oil pad is put forward by concluding the experience and results of structure design about hydrostatic thrust bearing.Firstly,analyzed and introduced the working principle,then established and deduction of the theoretical equation.Secondly,established the three-dimensional model,the boundary condition of the model is divided and the numerical simulation is carried out and concrete analysis and practical operation this theory.At last,the pressure field and temperature field of adjacent oil pad are analyzed by numerical simulation.Then analyzed the effect of the oil return groove on the upstream side and the downstream side of the tilting oil pad on lubrication performance;In the end analyzed the effect of the tilting angle of the tilting pad,the radial inclination angle and the tilting angle of the tilting pad on friction properties.The five meters vertical static lathe in Qiqihar heavy CNC equipment co,LTD is as the research object,pressure sensor and temperature sensor are applied to measure pressure and temperature of oil pad's inner and outer side when oil pad with different tilted angle is under the condition of 10t-50r/min to 10t-160r/min.By comparing the experimental data and numerical analysis,the accuracy of the experimental data and simulation data can be verified,the reasonable tilted angle of tilting-type oil pad can can be obtained and oil film can be researched and analyzed.
