| Large sector tilting pad thrust bearing,which mainly takes the bearing axial load by hydraulic power plant turbine shaft load,can be designed more than 5 meters.As a result accidents of burning tile,scratch and other kinds are increasing.Therefore,it is imminent to reduce the incidence of thrust bearing accidents by predicting performance parameters of bearing in advance when design.Most of the existing mathematical models of large thrust bearing have not considered the hydrostatic injection pocket structure,which can not accurately predict the lubrication performance of large thrust bearing.Therefore,this paper mainly studies the influence of hydrostatic injection pocket structure,size(diameter and depth)on the main lubrication performance of large thrust bearing.This paper presents the mathematical model of a large sector tilting pad thrust bearing lubrication performance parameters,and gives the respective boundary conditions.On this basis,the mathematical equation is nondimensionalized,and then the finite difference method is used to solve the problem,which is beneficial to the subsequent calculation.The paper introduces the structure characteristics,working principle and research methods of hydrostatic injection pocket equipped on the large thrust bearing.Establishing a mathematical model of large sector tilting pad thrust bearing lubrication performance parameters,which includes hydrostatic injection pocket,while completing the dimensionless work.Based on the establishment of a mathematical model,using FORTRAN90 language to compile the main lubrication performance of large fan tilting pad thrust bearing performance calculation program.The influence of hydrostatic injection pocket structure on main lubrication parameters of large thrust bearing is calculated using this program,and the influence of different depth,diameter of hydrostatic injection pocket,diameter and under isothermal state two factors on main lubrication parameters of large thrust bearing is also calculated.The accuracy of the calculation procedure of the lubrication performance of the large sector tilting pad thrust bearing is verified by comparing the calculated value with the experimental data obtained when the Itaipu thrust bearing was previously tested.The future research direction is also given. |
