Research On Urban Park Landscape Design Based On Historical Context

The development of historical context not only has something to do with society’s economy and culture,but also reflects the culture characteristics and continuity of a city.Based on historical context and urban park,concepts of historical context and urban park and the clear relationship between historical context and urban park are offered firstly.Secondly,relevant issues are summarized about urban park design,and the meaning and function that historical context to urban park are summarized.Design procedures on urban park landscape based on historical context are summarized by corresponding theoretical basis.In addition,the landscape design practice of Xuanyuan Park in Huangling County was guided by the theoretical methods,and more possibilities and tactics for combining the historical context with urban park landscape design were explored.The research methods are mainly used in the paper,such as dissertation literature review method,case analysis method.The innovation of the article is mainly reflected in the study of related theories and cases,and the summary of methods and strategies in urban park landscape design based on historical context.Based on above study,related theories are applied to the landscape design of Xuanyuan Park in Huangling County,and theoretical methods are verified.
