| Concrete guardrail is one of the important traffic facilities used for highway in our country.Among all traffic accidents,vehicle crashing on the guardrail accounts for a large proportion,which can result in serious casualties and property loss.Therefore,it is of great significance to analyze the collision accidents between vehicles and concrete guardrails and set up appropriate guardrails on the highway for the decrease of traffic accidentsFirstly,the structure and evaluation standard of concrete guardrail is introduced.Secondly,we build a vehicle-guardrail collision model with HyperMesh,run the calculation with HyperGraph and process the results with HyperView.We investigate the dynamic response of vehicles and collision characteristics of concrete guardrail in collisions with different initial conditions and structures of guardrail.And finally,the influence of structural parameters on the collision characteristics of concrete guardrail was obtained.By comparing the collision characteristics of single-slope guardrail and F-shaped guardrail,it is found that the rising height of vehicle crashing with single-slope guardrail is smaller than F-shaped guardrail,indicating that the single-slope guardrail is better than F-shaped guardrail for the stability of vehicles.While in terms of the safety of passengers,F-shaped guardrail is better,in other words,the vehicle produces less acceleration in the collision.Moreover,the upper and lower slopes of F-shaped guardrail influence the safety and stability of vehicles,a gentle slope will lead to a small acceleration and poor stability of vehicle.Conversely,the acceleration and stability will increase.It is also found that the effect of concrete compressive strength on the crash with the concrete guardrail is not obvious when the concrete guardrail is not broken.The peak aceeleration of the vehicle increases with the increasing frietion between ear and guardrail,and it is much easier for the vehicle to rotate;Moreover,the peak acceleration of the vehicle also increases with the increasing collision angle,meanwhile,the vehicle damage is more serious.By comparing the results between vehicle and truck,we find that the safety of truck is lower than that of vehicle when crashing on the concrete guardrail. |
