Research On The Protection Of Traditional Block Characteristic Style Based On "Collage" Theory

According to Mumford,one of the most important symbols of human culture is the language and the other is the city.Cities are the product of human development and the carrier of human civilization.Their functions and connotations are constantly enriching and changing.Different development backgrounds form distinct urban morphological characteristics and regional cultural characteristics.The outer space form of the city reflects the unique value orientation and cultural pursuit of the city.Over the past 30 years,China’s urban construction has achieved rapid development,but at the same time,it lacks respect and recognition for the ecological environment,urban context,history and culture,resulting in the decline of urban quality,the destruction of traditional blocks,the convergence of characteristics of thousands of cities,and the fragmentation of urban context.There is a crisis in the urban characteristics,and the problem of style and features has become a problem that can not be ignored in the urban renewal and construction of our country.The urban spatial form of traditional blocks is superimposed in the course of historical changes.It is a collage of spatial forms in different periods.It is the most intuitive reflection of urban characteristics and reflects the cultural connotation and historical connotation of urban context.This paper combs the concepts and ideological core of traditional block design and urban style in different periods at home and abroad,and summarizes valuable theoretical and practical experience.This paper systematically analyses the influence of natural and humanistic factors on the urban style and features,and analyses the traditional blocks from three theoretical levels: macro,meso and micro.It also puts forward the principles,strategies and methods that should be followed in shaping the characteristics and features of the traditional blocks from the collage perspective.Finally,taking Ruzhou Zhongda Street as an example,collage design techniques are introduced into the shaping of traditional block features to verify the proposed collage strategies of protection,collage repair,integration and inheritance.According to the elements of different styles and levels,different implementation methods are used: the integration of the spatial pattern of blocks,the integration of street and texture forms,the integration and continuity of street scenery,the continuation of the "collage" of the architectural style of blocks,and the shaping of regional cultural space.Realize the integration of tradition and modernity,so that the traditional block style and historical context with regional characteristics can be continued and carried forward.
