Waste plastics is one of the prominent sources of pollution in China,and research on its methods of recycling has become a hot issue.Concrete is the most used artificial material in the world,and it is one of the feasible methods to incorporate waste plastic as a filler substitute into concrete.Due to the low density and good elasticity of the discarded plastic particles,the prepared plastic concrete has the characteristics of light weight and good shape,but there is also a problem that the mechanical strength is significantly reduced.In order to overcome the problem of mechanical strength reduction caused by the incorporation of plastic particles in concrete,this paper intends to compensate the problem of the reduction of compressive strength of plastic concrete by adjusting the water-cement ratio and the method of incorporating Nano-SiO2,while focusing on the two strengths.The effect of reinforcing measures on the shrinkage characteristics of plastic concrete.Taking plastic mortar as the research object,the PP(polypropylene)plastic was studied in the case of equal volume replacement of 20%and 40%sand,and the water-cement ratio and Nano-SiO2 were added to the physical properties,mechanical strength and shrinkage properties of plastic mortar.Influencing the law,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)Water-cement ratio is an important way to control the mechanical properties of plastic mortar.Reducing the water-cement ratio helps to form dense micro structure and increase mortar density.Meanwhile,the smaller the water-cement ratio,the higher the mechanical strength of plastic mortar.(2)Nano-SiO2 is beneficial to improve the mechanical strength of plastic mortar because of its nucleation effect.The larger the amount of Nano-SiO2 is,the higher the mechanical strength is.(3)Whether adjusting the water-cement ratio or incorporating Nano-SiO2,the plastic mortar will increase in self-shrinkage and shrinkage.In general,the adjustment of water-cement ratio and the incorporation of Nano-SiO2 can effectively improve the mechanical strength of plastic mortar,enhance the compactness of micro structure and increase its density,but there is also the problem of increased shrinkage.Therefore,the optimal optimum water-cement ratio and Nano-SiO2 content should be combined to promote the application of plastics in concrete.Figure[27]Table[22]References[66]...
