With the increasing number of vehicles,traffic congestion is becoming increasingly serious.Nowadays most of drivers choose to use the navigation function of the digital map for route planning which can predict the traffic condition,travel time and other information of each route so that to reduce the travel time or travel distance.However,the prediction of fuel consumption of each route has not been realized.With the rapid development of the mobile internet and the communication technology,this paper makes an analysis and modeling base on the local database,and realizes the fuel consumption prediction function through combine the digital map.Firstly,as a power parameter,VSP(Vehicle Specific Power)has a strong correlation with the vehicle fuel consumption.Therefore,the paper chooses the parameter VSP which is different from the running condition in the form of time-speed function to describe the distribution of vehicle operating.On the premise of realizing the fuel consumption prediction function,the distribution rules are defined from three aspects:time segment length,speed interval division and VSP interval division.The vehicle operating distribution model is constructed in the form of Gaussian distribution,and the distribution model is modified by Simulated Annealing.Secondly,considering the need of realizing the fuel consumption prediction function,it is necessary to combine the established vehicle operating distribution model with fuel consumption model.In this paper,VSP is used as the bridge between the two model,and the piecewise linear regression model of VSP-fuel consumption is used as the basic fuel consumption model.Then,combining the the basic fuel consumption model with the vehicle operating distribution model,the embryonic form of fuel consumption prediction function is realized.According to the variable which has a great influence on the fuel consumption rate,the fuel consumption model is modified by the engine displacement,and the idea of model modification based on road grade is put forward.As a result,the prediction model of fuel consumption is realized whose the input is travel time in different speed range.Finally,this paper develops the software of fuel consumption prediction based on API(Application Programming Interface)of digital map,which is divided into two parts:mobile phone APP(Application)and server.Mobile phone APP is responsible for information interaction with users,server is responsible for the calculation of fuel consumption.With the engine displacement and driving time in different speed range(obtained by digital map API),the prediction function of fuel consumption in different routes is realized.
