Traditional villages are rich in historical resources and have certain historical, economical, scientific, artistic and social cultural objectivity. This is a change in the ancestors’lifestyle from loitering to set’tled. We have a carrier of spiritual civilization such as farming culture, regional culture, and traditional culture and a living legacy of intangible cultural heritage. With the rapid development of urbanization and modernization, most of the traditional villages have chosen to develop tourism.Compared to urban youth and older people living under the influence of reinforced concrete, their direction of tourism has also shifted towards natural and comfortable traditional villages.Under the two-way choice and effect, the construction and transformation of traditional villages are also in full swing, achieving the common development of economy, society and culture. However, under the current conditions of tourism and the need for social development, the number of traditional villages has dropped sharply.Although there are many protections on the policy, there have been a series of problems.Such as:the traditional village of "hollowing, thousands of villages, commercialization, scenic area" and so on.In the process of protection and construction, various problems are also intertwined. For example, the sense of belonging to regional culture is forgotten, the village culture is eroded, and the regional cultural landscape is deconstructed. In view of the above problems, this paper attempts to use the Hakka village of Changting Dingwuling as the research object from the perspective of the village’s regional culture, following the solid cultural and physical culture of Hakka dwellings and the living heritage of non-material culture. On an important basis, the traditional culture can be extended so that tourism is no longer "one-off" consumption. This article is divided into five stages:The first part is the basic theoretical point, conceived and elaborated the relevant theory of traditional villages and the comparison of domestic and foreign cases, especially the comparison of the traditional villages of Fujian Hakka. The advantages and disadvantages of traditional villages are viewed from a macro perspective. The second part is the analysis of the status quo of traditional villages, combined with actual cases, from the micro-analysis of regional cultural factors, and focus on the geographical landscape, social folk culture, architectural landscape and other key points, combing the traditional village landscape design and structure. The third part and the fourth part are based on the village s simple aesthetic tastes and values, and use case studies to provide a certain theoretical basis for the urbanization of the Hakka area and the landscape of the new villages, and to reduce the regrets in the transformation of Hakka traditional villages. Finally, the summary is made.Through the transformation of its actual cases,it follows the principles of integrity, originality, and sustainable design.Through its theoretical research,on-site inspections, and case analysis methods, regional cultural elements are extracted from traditional village landscapes.Applying to landscape design,it hopes to add deficiencies in the current village planning, and provide reference for the relationship between the spatial construction of villages and the culture of people and villages.
