In this paper, for the case of insufficient bending capacity of short-limb shear wall coupling beam, two test models of "T"-type short-limb shear wall coupling beam with scale ratio of 1:3 were designed and fabricated, and the experimental model was carried out to varying degrees. The damage is simulated in the case of simulated earthquakes, and the bending failure is caused in advance by the coupling beam. Then the CFRP mesh-reinforced high-performance composite mortar is used to reinforce the damage test model.Through experimental research, finite element simulation and theoretical derivation analysis, the main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Through the comparative analysis of the experimental research results,it can be seen that the CFRP net enhanced high-performance composite mortar reinforcement damage short-limb shear wall coupling beam reinforcement method can effectively improve its performance. It mainly includes: the flexural bearing capacity, crack resistance, stiffness, ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the test model after reinforcement are obviously improved, and the damage degree of the test model is more serious, and the performance improvement of the test model is smaller, the working mechanism of the reinforcement layer is summarized through experimental analysis..(2)The ANSYS finite element numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results. The rationality of the selected or established finite element model is verified. The model can be used to predict the actual engineering structure reinforcement.(3)Based on the analysis of the test data and the summary of the previous research, the formula of the flexural capacity of the short-limb shear wall coupling beam strengthened by CFRP net high-performance composite mortar is established. The theoretical calculation results, experimental results and finite element simulation are carried out.The results are basically consistent, and the accuracy of the theoretical formula is verified.A set of construction techniques suitable for the seismic strengthening of short-limb shear wall coupling beams is summarized, which provides reference for subsequent experimental research and engineering practice.
