Research On Memorial Building Space Design Based On Narrative Method

Memorial architecture refers to the buildings or works of art created by people or things that have a significant impact on a certain historical stage.It is the earliest human desire for spatial memory.At the same time,as a relatively independent architectural form,it has many functions such as remembering history,educating the masses,enlightening the future and so on.It is relatively rare in human historical and cultural heritage.With the development of society and science and technology in our country,memorial architecture has gradually become an important part of urban culture.At the same time,people’s demand for spiritual civilization is increasing day by day.The emotional experience of memorial architecture space and the transfer of memorial spirit have attracted people’s attention.With the development of cultural globalization and the inevitability of modernization,a series of problems have arisen in the construction of memorial buildings.For example,a large number of buildings have led to the pursuit of quantity without regard to quality,and the neglect of coordination between physical buildings and the surrounding environment in order to pursue architectural forms.At present,the main trend of the development of memorial architecture space design is: how to enhance the audience’s emotional experience needs in space,at the same time,pay attention to the theme of the story of the building itself and its spiritual connotation.This paper first gives a detailed overview of the related concepts of memorial architectural space and architectural narrative law.It combines the narrative concept with architectural design.On the basis of in-depth understanding of the site background story,it interprets the local spirit and expresses its spiritual connotation through the carrier of architecture from a brand-new perspective of narration.At the same time,combining with many excellent cases at home and abroad and drawing lessons from their success,this paper discusses the narrative design of Zhijiang Flying Tiger Memorial Hall from the aspects of narrative atmosphere and performance of narrative design of memorial building space,and expounds how to maximize the emotional experience needs of audience in space,and summarizes a set of narrative design methods.Through this framework,the author hopes that To provide some theoretical support and practical guidance for the present situation and future of narrative design of memorial building space.
