As other garden style,there are differences between western and eastern water view construction styles.As the development of oversea communication,garden water views of our country mostly are foreign style.What is more,as the city re-construction in the last decades,lots of historical relics gardens are replaced by the new constructions.The purpose of the article is to provide the help to modern water view construction through organizing traditional water view construction documents and researching.The researching method of the article is focusing on the water view impression,from the achievement of impression to re-conduct the process of impression achieving,which is water view construction.The present water view construction comes to the last.This study method is a new method,which is different from the previous studies.The object of the research is garden note.Garden note is a kind of literary style.To Ming dynasty,it includes the characters like:fully reflection of travel impression,multiple garden factors and identified garden location.It is the important material and indispensable research perspective for the research of classical gardens.The research period is middle and late Ming dynasty.The gardens in garden notes of Ming dynasty spread widely.As matter of that,for the regions of garden notes,the article narrow down to one distinctive region:Shanghai and Jiangsu.The gardens of this region ranked the top of that time.The research on them is representative.
