Our country's railway transportation is under the stage of vigorous development,and the "four vertical and four horizontal" high-speed railway network has a fundamental scale.The kernel subsystem,radio block center(RBC),in the Chinese Train Control System Level 3(CTCS-3),is responsible for issuing movement authorities(MAs)and monitoring the efficient and safe operations of trains.The study on the parallel simulation of train movements under the control of RBCs,on the hand,can perform the simulations identical to practical conditions,beneficial to the study on the performances of train control systems,and on the other hand,it can decrease train operation simulation and prediction times,convenient to promptly adjust train operation plans and guarantee the safe operations of high-speed trains.In this paper,using the MATLAB simulation platform,regarding CTCS-3 train control mechanism according to movement authorities granted by RBCs,the study on the parallel simulation and analysis is performed.The concrete contents in this paper is as follows.(1)According to the Technical Specification about RBC,the functional requirements and simulation structure of RBC simulation are analyzed.The conditions to generate movement authorities are analyzed in block sections,at stations,and in the scenarios of RBC switching,temporary speed restriction,MA extension and shortening.The tempo-spatial constraint conditions and speed and position update rules are established for the train movement model under the control of RBC movement authorities.(2)Based on the train serial simulation model,the corresponding train parallel simulation structure is designed.The data communication is analyzed in the master-slave structure and the full communication structure,and the optimized master-slave structure is designed.In the designed parallel simulation structure of train movement,the master node performs the task of data integration,verification,and data distribution.And the slave node calculates the train speeds and positions based on the assigned data,and transmit the required information such as block section occupancy or authorization information.(3)Through the serial and parallel simulation of train movements,the railway traffic flow diagram of single train and multiple trains are obtained.The simulation results demonstrate the correctness of the parallel structure,and the efficiency of parallel simulation is better than serial simulation.On the foundation of the testified correctness of results and completeness of functions that parallel simulation models satisfy,the factors affecting the rail traffic flow(different departure time intervals and the number of tracks at different stations)are analyzed and explored,and the margin departure time intervals under corresponding conditions are obtained.
